Microsoft Clipchamp is a video editor tool included in your Microsoft 365 subscription. Clipchamp features an AI-powered text-to-speech tool that allows you to generate realistic voiceovers by typing or pasting into a text box.
Microsoft Clipchamp can be accessed through your UofT Microsoft 365 account. Log in with your UofT email, then your UTORid and password:

To use the text-to-speech editor:
- Under “Create new”, click “Video project”
- (1) Click Record & create
(2) Select “Text to speech.”
- (a) Here you can select the language and voice to be used in the outputted audio file.
(b) Text input field.
(c) Once you’ve saved your text, you can export the audio file here.
- (1) Make sure to select Audio only
(2) Then click Export.
